ROOF STYLES /// There are three roof styles to choose from for your carport or metal building. Regular roof styles include a 6" roof overhang on the front and back. A-Frame roof styles have a 6" roof overhang on all four eaves. In all cases, your frame will be 1 foot shorter than the roof length selected online. A vertical roof may not include the 6" overhang on the front and back; however, if this is a concern, please contact a Carport.com sales representative to place your order. CERTIFIED /// You may need to obtain a permit prior to installation. If you require a permit, you must specify a Certified structure. Engineering drawings are available on all regular sized certified buildings at no additional cost for standard plans for your state. WIND RATINGS /// Certified buildings have a minimum wind rating starting at 80 mph and a snow rating starting at 20 lbs/sq ft. Certified buildings may be rated up to 150 mph wind and 60PSF; please contact us in advance for your specfic requirements.
