Standard 14-gauge structures include a 30-day workmanship warranty. Certified 12-gauge structures include that same 30-day workmanship warranty plus a 20-year warranty against the frame rusting through. Full terms are in your contract.

Gauge measures steel thickness — the lower the number, the thicker and stronger the steel. 14-gauge is our standard structural steel and meets most local code requirements. 12-gauge is thicker and used in our certified buildings, rated for higher wind and snow loads in areas that require it.
