Carport Buying Process
About the Buying & Ordering Process
Elephant Structures makes the buying process of your metal carport, steel garage, or barn easy. What you see is what you get (WYSIWYG). Simply go to the “Build a Carport” page, design your carport, garage, or barn, and click Add to Cart. We’ll start the manufacturing process immediately with the goal of delivering and installing your custom structure within four to six weeks. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (855) CAR-PORT (855-227-7678) or send us an email. Please note, you may save and email your custom designed carport at any time with our proprietary carport online builder.
STEP 1 /// BuildID, build your metal structure online at Carport.com
The BuildID allows users to create carports and metal garages from 10′ wide to 30′ wide and up to 51′ long with windows, walk-in doors, and roll-up garage doors. Our leg heights range from 5′ to 12′. If a specific size is not shown, please email us or complete the quote request form and we will get back to you with an estimate. In addition, we created a Carport by Photo section with various pre-configured sizes and options. When you are ready to buy your custom carport from our builder or one of our pre-configured models, simply click on “Buy Now” and we will get your metal structure order started immediately.
STEP 2 /// Confirmation and Deposit
After clicking “Buy Now,” you will be shown the terms and conditions of placing an order. After reading, all we ask for is a small deposit to secure your order and start the manufacturing process. We also offer various financing options with approved credit. Visit our Financing page for more information. Please note, deposits are non-refundable.
STEP 3 /// Scheduling
A member of our team, within approximately 7 days of your order, will contact you to schedule the installation date for your metal structure and to verify the location of all windows, walk-in doors, and garage doors. Lead times are typically 3 – 4 weeks, but may be as long as 60 days, depending on the season.
STEP 4 /// Installation Day and Final Payment
The balance of your order is not due until the day of delivery and installation. Our team will contact you 24 hours prior to the installation to make sure everything is prepared.
